Goyard

Goyard is a renowned French brand of luxury leather goods, which was founded in 1853 by François Goyard in Paris. The company's history dates back even further, when Pierre-François Martin founded Maison Martin in 1792, but the brand's true heritage began to take shape after Goyard's takeover. It specializes primarily in handmade luggage and handbags, which are valued for their durability, lightness and water resistance. Goyard's uniqueness lies in the characteristic Y-weave pattern that decorates most of their products. This pattern, called "Goyardine", was originally printed on a linen and cotton blend canvas and is now used on a specially designed blend of cotton, linen and hemp. Goyard products are available exclusively in the brand's flagship stores and selected luxury boutiques around the world, which maintains the exclusivity and elite character of the brand.
