Universal Genève - New Icons in the World of Watchmaking
Universal Genève, a brand known for its exceptional approach to watchmaking, returns to the market with new, refreshed icons. Among them are models such as Polerouter, Compax, and Cabriolet, which define a new era in elegant watchmaking. This relaunch is not only a return to its roots but also a manifestation of modern trends in fashion and watches.
Relocating the headquarters to Rue du Rhône in Geneva is a step towards renewing the brand's historical heritage, combining technical excellence with refined aesthetics. The new watch offering is divided into several collections, including Polerouter, Compax, Cabriolet, and Disco Mini, each offering something unique—from everyday elegance to high-end works of art.
New Watchmaking Icons
Central to the relaunch is a modern version of the Polerouter, a legendary watch designed in 1954 by Gérald Genta. The new version honors the classic design, retaining distinctive elements such as the crosshair dial and twisted lugs. The watch is equipped with a new UG-110 Microtor movement, which provides a 72-hour power reserve. Prêt-à-Porter models are available in 37 mm and 39 mm sizes, as well as in artistic Capsule editions.
Compax - The Return of a Legend
The brand also brings back Compax, a sports chronograph from the 1960s that gained popularity thanks to model Nina Rindt. The new models retain the 1960s aesthetic, with ceramic bezels and classic hour markers. These watches are powered by the new UG-200 movement, which combines modern technologies with traditional design.
Cabriolet and Disco Mini
Cabriolet, known for its Art Deco, returns with a unique design, offering customization possibilities thanks to miniature paintings on the case back. The new Disco Mini collection is inspired by mid-century glamour, offering watches with a rounded shape and an interchangeable strap system, making them incredibly versatile.

The main achievements of the relaunch are the Couture Creations and Signature Timepieces collections, which represent the pinnacle of the brand's capabilities.
