The Nike MAG is an iconic sneaker that gained immense fame thanks to its appearance in the 1989 film Back to the Future Part II, where Michael J. Fox, who played the character of Marty McFly, wore it in scenes set in the year 2015. The shoe was designed by Tinker Hatfield and is one of the most recognizable and iconic shoes in the history of footwear. The Nike MAG features a futuristic design with built-in LED lights and an electromagnetic fastening system, which at the time seemed like something out of science fiction. The first real versions of the shoe that could actually be purchased were released by Nike in very limited quantities in 2011, and then again in 2016 with an additional "power lacing" function that automatically tightens the shoes on the user's foot. Due to its limited production and innovative technologies, the Nike MAG has become an object of desire for collectors and footwear fans around the world. All proceeds from the sale of these shoes were donated to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, further increasing their value to the public and contributing to the positive perception of the brand.
